FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS, Md. (WUSA9) – Jasmine Farooq feared a madman was about to kill her 15-year-old son.
Farooq had gone with her fiancé to return his baby to his ex-wife when a man started screaming at them about being two hours late.
The man shoved her son, drew a weapon, and aimed it at his head, right on Wisconsin Avenue in the middle of one of the region’s swankiest blocks.
It was only then that Farooq figured out the man was a law enforcement officer.
In an exclusive interview with WUSA9, Farooq said she is furious Agent Gerald Rugero remains armed and on-duty while he awaits sentencing.
Rugero's lawyer insists he did nothing wrong.
