WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- If you've ever wondered what exactly a caucus is, WUSA9 has the answer.

In our newsroom on Tuesday, staffers gathered and followed the traditional Republican Iowa caucus format.  Republicans and Democrats do it differently.  We only focus on the Republicans because the Democratic race is not contested--although the Democrats will also caucus in Iowa Tuesday night.
